Rob Beetstra

President/Partner

Rob brings over thirty years of welding services experience. As well as many years of business management expertise. Also certified as a CWB welding supervisor in CSA-47-1 and CSA-47-2. He believes that quality products come naturally from quality people. And our people are our strength.

Thank you for the opportunity to share the CR Metal Fabricators story with you. I am proud of our personnel and facilities, but I am even more proud of the long term relationships that we have established with our customers. Darcy Beetstra

Controller/Partner

Darcy has many years of financial and accounting services in her history. Daily acitivities include accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. The best part of Darcy's day is dealing with customers on the phone and in person.

Tyler Abbott

General Manager Operations/Partner

Tyler is a certified Draftsman with numerous years of experience in the design and engineering field. His drafting specialty includes shop drawings, conceptual drawings and 3-D solid modeling. Other responsibilities are CNC programming for our Water Jet | Plasma table | Oxy Fuel Table. As well as project estimating. Tyler is also our CWB Wedling Specialist as well a CWB Level 2 Inspector.

Dave Armitage

Senior Project Manager/Quality Assurance Manager

Dave has been with CR Metal Fabricators for over 35 years. He has been involved with metal fabrication for over 38 years. All aspects from design, programming, procurement to quality assurance. His wealth of experience enables Dave to help create solutions for all your project requirements.

Erik Wigby

Estimator/Drafter

Erik has a dilpoma in Industrial Automation. He also puts his seven years of metal fabrication and welding experience to work while estimating jobs. Erik's drafting specialty includes shop drawings, conceptual drawings and 3-D solid modeling. Other responsibilities are CNC programming for our Water Jet | Plasma table | Oxy Fuel Table. As well as project estimating.

Kim Murphy

Purchasing Manager

Kim joined our team in 2022 and brings with her over 15 years’ experience in purchasing and logistics. Kim also achieved her CWB Level 1 Welding Inspector Certification but continues to focus most of her time on procurement. 

Regan Holmes

Shop Foreman

Regan started with CR Metal Fabricators in 2000. Regan is a Journeyman Red Seal Sheetmetal Mechanic and is one of the many long term staff that took their apprenticeships here. Regan is responsible to ensure that all products and services that we provide are of the highest quality and on time. Regan also is a certified CWB Welding Supervisor with 47-1 (Structural Steel)  & 47-2 (Structural Aluminum) qualifications.

Teresa Carlyle

Administration Manager

Teresa has been with CR Metal Fabricators for 30 years. Teresa is a daughter of one of the original founders of CR Metal Fabricators back in 1963. She has been the smiling face and cheerful voice that greets every customer.

Jami Menshik

Project Manager/Estimator

Jami is a Project Manager and Estimator, joining the team in 2021. She is also a CWB Welding Supervisor certified to CSA W47.1 and CSA W47.2. and part of our Quality Assurance department. Jami began her career locally, in 2005 as a ticketed welder/fabricator and has earned a wide range of knowledge and experience to suit her current project management role.

Justine Kattilakoski

Reception / Customer Service

Justine has worked administration for many years in the local Aviation and Electrical Industry. She has grown up in Campbell River and as the granddaughter of the original founder of CR Metal Fabricators she has spent a lot of time around the shop. She looks forward to helping all the new and familiar faces.
